Fondacija Heinrich B\u00f6ll[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h5″ text_size=”h5″ uncode_shortcode_id=”911807″ subheading=”Within the project, an analysis of decarbonization possibilities for eco villages was conducted, raising public awareness about eco tourism, and presenting best practice examples and case studies. The target groups included representatives from eco villages, tourists, and authorities responsible for energy and environment. The project mapped eco villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina using GIS tools and created a webGIS platform providing comprehensive information about these villages. Additionally, newsletters and PR articles were created and published to raise awareness about the project. Three two-day workshops were organized at different locations, covering topics on energy sustainability, climate neutrality, and the use of renewable energy sources. The project team conducted feasibility studies for achieving energy sustainability and climate neutrality for three selected eco villages, analyzing their energy needs and proposing improvement measures. The studies were presented to village owners through individual meetings.
