Project Spatial Justice concept "Right to the City in the Context of Sustainable Development" presented
4th Conference on Urban Planning and Regional Development was held in Sarajevo on June 15th, in the organization of The Association of Consulting Engineers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (www.uki.ba). We had an opportunity to present the project Spatial Justice, its concept "Right to the City in the Context of Sustainable Development", alongside top expert from the region. The presentation of the idea for more significant and innovative citizen participation in the process of sustainable urban planning and development highlighted the importance of involvement of NGO sector, to fill the gaps in institutional undercapacity, to make a connection between all relevant stakeholders and to boost stronger citizen engagement.
