Project GETA partners created the Research Report
Project GETA partners created the Research Report in order to provide a better understanding and context of energy poverty situation in some of the European nations (e.g., Italy and Sweden) and in Westerns Balkans, as well as identify effective strategies and actions to mitigate its effects and find a way out of addressing the negative effects of the energy poverty.

Project Spatial Justice concept "Right to the City in the Context of Sustainable Development" presented
4th Conference on Urban Planning and Regional Development was held in Sarajevo on June 15th, in the organization of The Association of Consulting Engineers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (www.uki.ba). We had an opportunity to present the project Spatial Justice, its concept "Right to the City in the Context of Sustainable Development", alongside top expert from the region. The presentation of the idea for more significant and innovative citizen participation in the process of sustainable urban planning and development highlighted the importance of involvement of NGO sector, to fill the gaps in institutional undercapacity, to make a connection between all relevant stakeholders and to boost stronger citizen engagement. Call for participation: International Training Course for Energy Advisors - "How can youth reduce energy poverty in rural areas?"
The scope of the training is to equip youth workers with practical experience on estimating the energy poverty in rural areas through the developed tool.

First issue of the GETA Project Bulletin
We present to you the first issue of the GETA Project Bulletin.
The GETA project seeks to support the energy transition in these areas in the Western Balkans through practical methods and education of young people from rural areas, who are sensitive to energy poverty in their households.
The GETA project is co-financed by the European Union and is implemented by a partner consortium consisting of: Life Foundation (Sweden), University Polytechnic of Marche (Italy), Environmental and Territorial Management Institute ETMI (Albania), Regional Education and Information Center for Sustainable Development in SEE REIC (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Municipality of Kavaje (Albania).

The kick off meeting of the project GETA
The kick off meeting of the project GETA was held 13-14 February 2023. Meeting was hosted by the Life Foundation in Karlstad, Sweden and the meeting geathered leading representatives (Managers) and researchers from partner organisations: University Polytechnic of Marche (UNIVPM) (ITALY), Environmental and Territorial Management Institute (ETMI) (ALBANIA), Regional Education and Information Center for Sustainable Development in SEE (REIC) (BOSNIA) and Municipality of Kavaje - ALBANIA (MOK) (ALBANIA).
Topics for the meeting aimed to introduce the cooperation, define its key aspects (Management, Quality Assurance, Evaluation, Communication and Dissemination) and plan the detailed tasks and deadlines of the research forming part of the Research Report.
