The project seeks to improve climate and energy governance alignment in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia with the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Through workshops, seminars, and interviews involving local stakeholders, it aims to increase awareness and capacity among policymakers, industry actors, civil society, and academia. By empowering civil society to engage in climate policy formulation and monitoring, the project ultimately aims to reduce emissions from key sectors like steel, cement, electricity, and chemicals.
